What the subscription includes

The subscription does not include AI generation costs. Those are charged by fal.ai directly to your fal.ai account on a pay-per-use basis. See Billing & Charges for details.
Device activation
Section titled “Device activation”Your license works on two computers, for your own use — one generating at a time; the one you start working on takes over. See Activate Your License for setup and device management.
How to cancel
Section titled “How to cancel”No lock-in, no cancellation fees. Cancel anytime through the LemonSqueezy customer portal:
- In the plugin, go to Settings → Subscription and click “Manage subscription” — or check your email for the original purchase receipt from LemonSqueezy
- In the customer portal, click Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access until then. When the period ends, the plugin switches to read-only mode.
If you cannot find the email, you do not need it: go to app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders, enter the address you bought with, and LemonSqueezy emails you a sign-in link to the same portal. Your orders, invoices and licence keys are all there. LemonSqueezy holds the account record, so they are the ones who can recover it — we cannot look it up for you.
What happens to your data after cancellation
Section titled “What happens to your data after cancellation”Short answer: Everything stays on your machine. Nothing is lost. Your local data is never deleted due to subscription changes.

Your work never leaves your machine, and cancelling does not touch it. If you resubscribe later, all of it is still there — no re-configuration needed.
The one thing we do hold is the subscription record above: your license key, the device identifier used for the activation limit, and the email LemonSqueezy sent us at purchase. It is what lets the plugin answer “is this subscription active?”. It is removed automatically 90 days after the subscription ends, and you can have it removed immediately at any time — the Privacy Policy documents a DELETE /api/user-data endpoint, or email info@modelbridge.app and we will do it for you.
Read-only mode
Section titled “Read-only mode”When your subscription expires (after cancellation or failed payment), the plugin enters read-only mode. See What Happens When Your Subscription Changes for full details on what you can and cannot do, including trial end, payment failure, reactivation, device switching, and offline behavior.
Can I pause instead of cancel?
Section titled “Can I pause instead of cancel?”There is no formal pause option. However, because there is no lock-in:
- Cancel when you do not need the plugin
- Resubscribe when you do
- All your data persists between subscriptions — nothing is lost
This is effectively the same as pausing, without a separate mechanism.
What happens if payment fails?
Section titled “What happens if payment fails?”If your payment method fails:
- LemonSqueezy will retry the charge automatically over several days and notify you by email
- During this grace period, the plugin continues working normally — a warning banner lets you know to update your payment method
- If all retries fail, the plugin enters read-only mode
- Once payment is resolved or a new subscription is activated, full access is restored immediately
No data is deleted due to payment failure. Your generation history, settings, and model list remain intact on your machine regardless of subscription status.
Payment processor payout holds
Section titled “Payment processor payout holds”Because LemonSqueezy is our Merchant of Record, they may occasionally delay or reverse payouts to modelBridge — for example on suspicion of fraud, chargeback disputes, or account risk review. This does not affect your active subscription: your access is determined by LemonSqueezy’s billing status, not their internal payout schedule to us.
