Mobile Preview
Your timeline plays on a desktop monitor, but your audience watches on a phone. What looks great at 27 inches can feel completely different at mobile scale — details disappear, text sits outside safe zones, motion that reads well at 1080p looks chaotic at 9:16.
Mobile Preview lets you check every generation on your phone without leaving Premiere Pro. No cables, no AirDrop, no manual file transfer.
First-Time Setup — Scan Once, Done Forever
Section titled “First-Time Setup — Scan Once, Done Forever”After your first generation completes, a Preview on mobile row appears at the bottom of the preview panel.
- Click QR in the preview row to expand the QR code
- Scan with your phone — opens the modelBridge preview page in your browser
- Tap Share → Add to Home Screen
- Open the modelBridge app from your home screen
That’s it. The QR code is tied to your machine — the same URL forever. You never scan again. Every future generation on this machine automatically appears on your phone within seconds.
What You See on Your Phone
Section titled “What You See on Your Phone”The mobile preview is a PWA — it installs like a native app, runs fullscreen with no browser chrome, and polls for new content every 5 seconds.
- Video autoplays muted and loops — tap for playback controls
- Images display full-width, centered — pinch to zoom
- Multi-image results show as a swipeable carousel (up to 4)
- Audio shows as a full player with progress and duration
- Metadata card shows model name, category, and time since generation
For Dual Mode generations, both model results appear as labeled slides — swipe to compare on the actual screen size.
Safe Zone Overlays
Section titled “Safe Zone Overlays”Tap the Safezone pill at the bottom of the screen to choose a platform overlay:
- TikTok — shows the safe area for TikTok’s UI elements
- Instagram — shows Instagram Reels safe zones
- YouTube — shows YouTube Shorts safe zones
The overlay is semi-transparent and persists across reloads. Toggle on while reviewing, off to see the full frame. Essential for vertical content where subject placement matters.
How It Fits Your Workflow
Section titled “How It Fits Your Workflow”- Generate in modelBridge as normal
- While the preview plays in Premiere’s Source Monitor — glance at your phone
- The generation is already there, autoplaying
- Tap Safezone to check subject placement against platform UI
- If it looks right on mobile — import to timeline
- If not — adjust and regenerate
No extra steps. No manual sends. The mobile preview happens automatically after every generation.
Meta Ads & Mobile-First Content
Section titled “Meta Ads & Mobile-First Content”For Meta ads, social content, and any vertical format — run this check before every import:
- Generate at the right aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 4:5)
- Phone preview appears automatically
- Enable the platform safe zone overlay
- Check: is the subject in the safe area? Does text clear the UI zone? Does the motion read at small size?
- If yes — import. If no — fix the prompt, source material, or framing and regenerate
This replaces the old workflow of: generate → export → AirDrop → open on phone → realize the subject is behind the like button → go back to Premiere → repeat.
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”- Client review — hand the client your phone. They see it fullscreen, autoplaying, on the screen format it’s designed for. No projector, no screen share, no file transfer.
- Social media check — verify vertical (9:16) or square (1:1) content at phone scale with platform safe zones
- On-set review — check results on your phone away from the editing station
- Agency handoff — share the Copy link with a colleague. They see your latest generation on their phone in real time as you generate.
- Dual Mode comparison — generate two model variations simultaneously. Both appear on mobile as labeled slides — swipe to compare on the actual screen.
