How modelBridge works
Section titled “How modelBridge works”Models are AI endpoints on fal.ai. modelBridge reads each model’s published specification and builds a custom interface — sliders, dropdowns, media inputs, and whatever limits the model publishes — automatically. Every model, zero hardcoded templates.
Generations are API calls to fal.ai. Select a clip on your timeline, choose a model, adjust parameters, and click Generate. The result downloads and imports directly into your Premiere Pro project. Generations never block your timeline — keep editing while you wait.
Costs are paid directly to fal.ai at their published rates. modelBridge shows a concrete estimate before you generate, tracks costs per client and project, and exports reports for billing. Zero markup.
Editing runs on your machine. Silence detection, cuts, and timeline work happen locally — your footage and your project never leave it. modelBridge’s own servers see your licence key, the catalog and news you fetch, and only what you choose to send: a mobile preview, a bug report, opt-in telemetry. Generative AI runs on fal.ai when you use the Generate tab. The agent chats through your own Claude key — carrying your project’s details, and a few sampled frames of whichever clip you have selected. Full data-flow breakdown
