modelBridge.ai supports a minimal set of keyboard shortcuts within the panel. Since the plugin runs inside Premiere Pro’s CEP panel framework, most keyboard input is handled by the standard form fields and Premiere Pro’s own shortcut system.
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|
| Enter | Submit generation (when the Generate button is focused) |
| Escape | Dismiss error banners or close dialogs |
| Tab | Move focus between form fields |
| Shift + Tab | Move focus backwards between form fields |
Standard text editing shortcuts work in all text inputs (prompt field, search bar, URL inputs):
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|
| Cmd + A | Select all text |
| Cmd + C | Copy selected text |
| Cmd + V | Paste text |
| Cmd + X | Cut selected text |
| Cmd + Z | Undo text edit |
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|
| Cmd + F | Focus the model search bar (when Models tab is active) |
- Premiere Pro’s global keyboard shortcuts take priority over panel shortcuts when the panel is not focused
- Click inside the modelBridge.ai panel to ensure it has focus before using shortcuts
- Custom keyboard shortcut configuration is not available — the shortcuts listed above are fixed
- Keyboard shortcuts for mask drawing in inpainting (brush size, tool switching) are controlled by the mask editor interface when active
These Premiere Pro shortcuts are useful when working with modelBridge.ai:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|
| V | Selection tool (for selecting clips on the timeline) |
| Space | Play/pause timeline (preview generated clips) |
| I / O | Set in/out points (useful for isolating source material) |
| Cmd + I | Import media (manual import if auto-import is not used) |
